Last night I told you that i0n1c jailbroken the iPad 2 on iOS 5.1 but this evening we find out that the Dev Team managed to jailbreak the iPad 3 tablet on the same version of the operating system. MuscleNerd is the one who managed to jailbreak the new tablet and in a tweet on the Twitter social network he mentioned that everything we see now is just proof that jailbreaking is possible. Unfortunately, the development process will be a long one, so we should not get our hopes up that a jailbreak solution will be available in the next few days or in the next two weeks.
The jailbreak will most likely be untethered and if new information appears I will keep you informed.
