Safari turned 13 (Video)

Safari 13 yearsSafari turned 13 years old yesterday, Steve Jobs presenting on January 7, 2003 the first version of the browser that was initially only available for the OS X platform, and in the video clip below you can see that moment.

Safari has evolved a lot in 13 years and is one of the fastest web browsers on the planet, it has a low adoption rate on desktops because it is now available exclusively in OS X, but it is the most used browser for browsing on internet from mobile terminals.

Safari was also implemented in iOS to allow internet browsing and that is precisely why it is the most used browser for internet browsing on mobile terminals, despite the fact that it is very limited and does not offer the best browsing experience on terminals.

No one knows how Safari will evolve in the coming years, but those from Apple are trying their best to improve their browser with each new version of OS X and iOS, but probably the limitations will remain.
