Valeriu Gheorghita sends a fundamental message for Romanians all over the country in full wave 4 of the Coronavirus, the number of infections increasing at an accelerated pace recently, so that the president of CNCAV supports the vaccination of Romanians now, before school starts.
Valeriu Gheorghita comes up with this very important recommendation because if adults are vaccinated before school starts, possibly together with children, the risk of the number of new cases exploding is substantially reduced, and they are much better protected.
"I have conveyed and continue to support my point of view: we don't have to wait for school to start to get vaccinated. It is the propitious period, the opportune period to vaccinate ourselves. At this moment, both parents, grandparents, and eligible children over 12 years old have access to vaccination, they can be vaccinated.
It is ideal for this to happen now, precisely so that we are sufficiently protected as we enter the collectivity. We look at what has happened in the United States and in the countries where schools have started, it seems that the number of cases has increased, including among children. So we certainly expect an increase in the number of cases, it is important not to increase serious forms of illness among the vulnerable.
Or from this point of view, we consider that having an easy, easy access to vaccination during this period, in conjunction with dedicated information actions for parents, students and also for grandparents and teachers, as well as a proposal to organize centers, vaccination offices, even in certain educational units, where, of course, all the criteria are met from an epidemiological point of view, we believe that in this way we will offer the greatest possibility of vaccination."
