Raed Arafat: Permits for Romanians, Total Quarantine Excluded

Raed Arafat Romanian Permits Quarantine Excluded

Raed Arafat declared today, during a press conference with Minister of Health Ioana Mihaia, that total quarantine of Romania, lockdown is excluded, but that measures are taken into account for Romanians who refuse to be vaccinated, which is also happening in other countries countries

Raed Arafat says that they want to impose "permissions" for some so that there are no restrictions for everyone, which is logical and normal because vaccination offers protection, so in the absence of it, or of constant testing, which is expensive, some Romanians do not they will have access to certain activities.

"Before there were restrictions for everyone. Now maybe there will be permissions for some, so that we don't end up with restrictions for all. The unvaccinated person is not targeted. We try to maintain some activities without closing them. If the maintenance of some activities will be based on vaccination, testing, we apply public health measures to limit the spread. The new variant spreads very quickly, a contact of 2-3 minutes without a mask is enough to infect.

I hope we do not arrive at measures that are very good. So let's get, however, to modulate the situation that depends on us. If we follow the rules, we limit the spread."
