Vaccination against the Coronavirus reduces the chances of infection with such a dangerous virus by up to 17 times, and this is what a study conducted by the US authorities in the first 7 months of this year tells us at the population level.

The CDC's COVID-NET study shows that unvaccinated people are 17 times more likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19 than people who are fully vaccinated.
Between January 24 and July 24, 2021, cumulative hospitalization rates were 17 times higher in unvaccinated people compared to vaccinated people, broken down by age groups they were 23 times, 22 times and 13 times higher ( unvaccinated compared to vaccinated) for those aged 18-49, 50-64 and ≥65 years respectively.
Between June 27 and July 24, hospitalization rates were >10 times higher in unvaccinated compared with vaccinated individuals for all age groups during all weeks, during which the Delta variant became predominant.
