iPhone 6S – processor frequency and amount of RAM revealed by a supposed benchmark

iPhone 6S RAM performance testiPhone 6S is going to be launched this year by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and according to the latest rumors, he should have one A9 chip with triple-core processor and 2 GB RAM, just like the iPad Air 2 tablet in the A8X chip.

Although the terminal is many months away from launch, today we see a supposed performance test of iPhone 6S which confirms the fact that we will have an A9 chip, but it also reveals that the frequency of the processor would be 2 GHz, but the amount of RAM would be only 1 GB.

Practically this performance test reveals that 6S iPhone Plus it has an A9 chip with a processor clocked at 2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM, probably DDR 4, and to make things even more credible we see that the terminal has the iPhone8,2 code, the one attributed to the iPhone 6S Plus by the application logs in the App Store.

At first glance, it seems that the iPhone 6S will be a big disappointment if we look at the fact that it only has 1 GB of RAM, but we have to look at things a little detached to get an idea about what the company is going to offer us Apple from autumn for purchase.

There is a possibility that the Geekbench 3 program does not correctly recognize the A9 chip of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, especially since Apple has never implemented a 2 GHz processor in any iDevice and is unlikely to change this strategy in 2015 .

From my point of view, the performance test could be 100% true and the information credible to the extent that it is admitted that they could be wrong because the application does not correctly recognize the hardware, the technical specifications of the iPhone 6S could be different .

If you were to ask me, I would say that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will have processors clocked at a maximum of 1.4 GHz, but with 2 GB DDR 4 RAM, but we will see in the fall what Apple has prepared.
