The Apple Watch Nike+ will launch on October 28

Without making any official announcement, the Apple company published today the release date for the Apple Watch Nike+, the new smartwatch going on sale on October 28. Apple had not announced in September the date on which it will start selling the new smartwatch, so the appearance of this date confirms the fact that the device will be launched this month.

The Apple Watch Nike+, which has a bracelet specially created by Apple, will be available for pre-order at prices starting at $369 for the 38mm model and $399 for the 42. Unlike other Apple Watch 2 models, the only thing different on the outside of the Nike+ model is the perforated bracelet specially colored by Apple.

As for watchOS, those from Nike have implemented changes for the operating system, which has a series of faces specially created by the designers from Nike. More than that, Apple Watch Nike+ also has complications that are offered exclusively in this model of Apple Watch, but it is hard to say if the difference in money is worth it in any way.

Apart from these software changes, any Apple Watch 2 can be made to look like the Nike+ version with the special bracelet that Apple applies to it. Considering that we are talking about a bracelet dedicated to an Apple Watch model, Apple will most likely avoid selling it through its store or online.
