Digi Mobil. The fourth largest mobile phone operator in Romania also has the weakest coverage of all, although it has active 3G and 4G networks, and if you are curious to see the real coverage map in Romania, now you can do it. Those from Digi Mobil have a map on their website that shows that they cover almost all of Romania with their networks, but in reality the coverage is much lower than that with their own network, both for the 3G signal and for the 4G signal.

I have told you many times that Speed Test is the best and real solution to find out information about the real download and upload speeds of telecom operators, and for coverage those from OpenSignal, the creators of Speed Test, are equally credible. In the App Store they have a special application which you can use to see the real coverage that Digi Mobil has, but the same is also true for Orange, Telekom, or even Vodafone.

You can see in the image above how the 3G and 4G coverage looks for the operator owned by RCS & RDS in Romania, a big difference existing compared to the map that exists on the company's website. I imagine that on the Digi Mobil website we see the coverage map that includes national roaming through Vodafone, and OpenSignal shows the coverage offered exclusively by the RCS & RDS operator's network, and this is where the difference comes from.
Digi Mobil. It is known that the company's effective network does not cover the areas outside the cities very well, or at all, and in smaller cities the coverage is even worse, which is to be expected. However, using the application recommended above, you can get a real idea of the coverage you have from the Digi Mobil network, but you can convince yourself if it is worth porting to the network, or to another mobile operator.
