The big difference is that the Samsung GALAXY S10 has 8 more days of availability compared to the previous series, and if the estimate turns out to be true, then the sales of this series will be lower than those recorded for the series launched last year by the Koreans.

Samsung Electronics is expected to ship out a total of 20 million Galaxy S10 series phones within the first half of this year. The 10th-anniversary Galaxy S10 phones, which went on sale throughout the world Friday, are expected to achieve sales targets of 10 million for the first quarter and another 10 million for the April-June period. Shipments of Galaxy S9 phones stood at 19.2 million for the first half of 2018 and 35 million for the whole year.
The difference is quite small and it shows that the analysts do not have much confidence in the new series of phones, even though it was received very well, and brings a lot of important news for customers. It is possible that in the end this will not matter, and the Samsung GALAXY S10 series will not register those very high sales that were announced by some, and are expected by others, this could be a huge problem for those in South Korea .
The Samsung GALAXY S10 should be one of the best-selling smartphone models until the Huawei P30 Pro is released, and since then its sales will probably halve.
