Netflix is the largest and most popular video streaming platform on the planet, and for those who are always connected to the movies and series there, there is a great function that they most likely did not know about. I told you a few weeks ago that Netflix is implementing a function that will allow you to view a random episode from a series that exists on the platform, but there is already something better than that, and you can use it right now.
Netflix has an extension available for Google Chrome which allows users of the streaming service to watch a random series or movie from the platform by simply pressing a button. The function is currently only available for computers, so if you watch Netflix on phones or tablets, you will not be able to install the extension for Google Chrome, but on a laptop or classic computer, you can do it without problems.

Netflix does not prohibit extensions of this kind, especially since they help to make the content on its platform easier to discover, something that the company cannot do alone at the moment. The extension for Netflix that brings this great feature is called ShuffleFlix, and it can be downloaded from the Google Chrome Web Store, but as I already told you, only on computers where the browser is already installed.
Netflix it's a very good streaming service, but unfortunately there are big problems with content discovery, and the American company knows this, so it's constantly trying to solve the problem. So far it hasn't really managed to do this, but maybe in the not too distant future Netflix will find an efficient method to recommend only those movies and series that we are really interested in watching.
