Planet Mars: The ONE AMAZING Image for All of Mankind

The planet Mars has a stunning image published by ESA for all mankind, here is what the researchers of the European agency have discovered.

Planet Mars

Planet Mars has today a new astonishing image published by ESA, the European Space Agency, which surprises the whole humanity with what it reveals about the planet so far away. The Mars Express spacecraft, which orbits the planet Mars, managed to record this amazing image, it was taken between the northern and southern hemispheres, which are very different, some researchers being surprised by the discrepancy between the relief forms.

Planet Mars it has in the northern hemisphere a flat land where there are very few impact zones of some asteroids or meteorites, while in the southern hemisphere there are many mountains, but also many craters, plus evidence of volcanic activity. ESA managed to record an image that shows us the big difference between the two hemispheres, but also the delimitation zone between the hemispheres, which until now NASA has not managed to show us in any of the images taken on the planet Mars.

Planet Mars hemispheres

Planet Mars it is also presented in a topographical image, including the areas with altitude, and the low areas, so that we can also see how the countryside is delimited by the hilly areas between the two hemispheres. Those from ESA call the boundary between the two hemispheres a dichotomous one, but also areas with fractured terrain, one of the regions in the image is called Nilosyrtis Mensae, the planet Mars may have many areas of this kind.

"Nilosyrtis Mensae has a labyrinthine appearance, with numerous channels and valleys carved through the terrain. Water, wind, and ice have heavily impacted this region, dissecting and eroding the terrain, along with changes in Martian geology: valleys have formed over time and cut into the region, and once-defined impact craters have they have slowly decayed, their walls and features gradually wear.”

Planet Mars delimited hemispheres

Planet Mars had these areas formed over time by water, icy wind, and not only that, this has now also happened on Earth with the geographical forms we have, except for the craters. ESA is very carefully analyzing this area on the planet Mars not only because it delimits the two hemispheres, but also because it could have information that could explain the possible existence, or lack, of water on the planet.

Planet Mars it must be explored in detail before the first astronauts are sent there, but this "in detail" must be related to a cosmic body larger than Earth, and to the limited number of ships sent there.
