207.000 Romanians canceled appointments for vaccination against the Corona virus with the AstraZeneca serum, or did not show up for the appointment, the figure being a huge one, and announced on the day when confirmation was expected from the European authorities regarding the problems the vaccine has.

Valeriu Gheorghita, the coordinator of the CNCAV, made this announcement during the press conference below, he nevertheless stated that the Romanians who did not want to be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca serum chose other vaccines because the number of appointments remained constant, so people they want to be immunized.

Valeriu Gheorghita also says that it is unlikely that the European authorities will recommend stopping vaccinations with the AstraZeneca serum, but only avoiding its use for certain age groups, but for now not many details are known regarding what will be decided.
