Raed Arafat, the head of the DSU, stated last evening that the Delta Plus strain of the Coronavirus represents a very serious new threat to Europe, including Romania, and that vaccination is the only solution to protect the population at the moment.
Raed Arafat says that Romanians should find out about vaccination from official sources and stop believing everything that is published on Facebook, the social network having an abundance of false information against vaccination, even though it is the only way to normality.
"People must better inform themselves, from correct, official sources, read what they want, but also see the official advice of specialists. The fact that we are well now does not guarantee that we will be well after a while and the minister (no. of Health) will say that the Delta variant and the Delta plus variant are starting to spread and represent a problem and the solution remains vaccination."
