The Black Hole: The INCREDIBLE Premiere that Amazed All of Mankind

Black hole feeding

The black hole, the mysterious object that sits at the center of many galaxies and is extremely difficult to detect and observe by scientists, is again at the center of an incredible discovery. More precisely, scientists managed to use space telescopes and those on Earth to recreate the way a black hole "feeds", the process itself being extremely complex, but extremely important to understand how the universe works .

A black hole is an object that "swallows" everything that gets too close to its center, including light, and until recently scientists did not have a clear idea about how such objects "feed". According to scientists, the "feeding" process takes place in filaments that separate when they reach the center of a galaxy that has a black hole, and then enter a spiral towards its center and disappear forever.

The black hole observed by scientists going through a process of this kind is in the galaxy NGC 1566, and so they managed to better understand what happens to objects of this kind. Of course, this observation was made for an event that took place a long time ago, as is the case with everything in the universe, but even so, the discovery of how a black hole is fed is amazing

"This group of telescopes has given us a completely new perspective of a supermassive black hole, thanks to the high angular resolution image and panoramic view of its surroundings, as it allows us to watch the dust filaments disappear as they fall into the black hole."

The black hole is a destructive force in the universe, all scientists know this, and this is because it can disintegrate stars, planets, plus various other objects that head towards it. Of course, the black hole grows as it "feeds" itself with the various objects that come near it, but scientists are still analyzing how exactly this happens and for now they only tell us how it "swallows" what comes close to it.

The black hole is an extremely dangerous object in the universe, but for now humanity is not threatened by these types of objects that are extremely difficult to detect.
