Tutorial: Install Android 2.2 on iPhone 2G/3G with iPhoDroid for Windows.

This tutorial is addressed to those who have a jailbroken iPhone 2G/3G and want to install Android 2.2 Froyo on their terminals using the Windows version of the iPhoDroid program. This program is still in the beta version, so it is constantly being improved, so you do the installation at your own risk with the mention that it might not work perfectly and cause errors. The developer recommends using this program on phones jailbroken with redsn0w because it is 100% compatible with this program. No limitation is specified regarding the iOS version, so it probably works on any.

Step 1

Download iPhoDroid for Windows from here (iPhoDroid_1SHOT_R13h_3G_PC) : [download id=”80″]

Step 2

If you have Windows 7, you may receive a message like "Alpha Expire". To overcome this error, set the date from the computer one month ago. Click on the clock in the taskbar and select the month of August.

Step 3

Open the program and you will be greeted by the following image:

Step 4

Press "Shoot" and the program will start to unzip the necessary files and share them to be installed on the phone. The process is divided into 3 parts, the completion of which takes a few minutes, so you have to be patient. After everything is finished, the phone will enter Recovery Mode.

Step 5

To take the phone out of Recovery Mode, open the program again and press "Exit Recovery Mode", then you will be able to enter Android if you wish.

That's it, after the process is finished you have Android installed on your phone.
