Apple Pay authorized a $1 million transaction

The mobile payment system Apple Pay he registered a very interesting record this month, more precisely a 1 million dollar car was bought with him. We are talking about an Aston Martin DB5 from 1964 that has a value of 1 million dollars, this being the largest transaction ever recorded on the Apple platform.

Coys of Kensington auction house announced this week the historic purchase made using Apple Pay, the value in pounds being 825.000. The amount is very large and if the information is true, then it would confirm the fact that Apple Pay would not have limits imposed for transactions, these remaining at the discretion of bank card issuers.

The purchase of the car from the auction house was made using an online platform called Vero, so that the customer did not bring his phone close to any POS in the location. Despite this, he used Apple Pay for the web and the Vero platform to complete the purchase, and thus Apple Pay set, most likely, a record for payments through the Apple platform.

The car in question was kept for 20 years in a garage and is similar to one of those used in the movie Skyfall, being completely restored before being sold. Those from Apple have not confirmed the transaction in any way, nor have they said whether it is a record or not, but they will probably brag about this soon.
