CES 2017 brings us from the Flir company new terminal cameras for the iPhone, or a variety of Android smartphones available on the market. Flir One is the first case model with a thermal camera launched by the Flir company, and at CES 2017 the second model was launched, but we are not talking about a case, but an adapter.
As you can see in the images below, the new version of the Flir thermal camera mounts in the Lightning port of the iPhone and allows recording images using the thermal camera integrated in it. The adapter has a new image processor that allows the recording of images at a higher resolution than before, so we are talking about a better quality of the recordings.
Apart from Flir One, Flir Pro was also presented at CES 2017, a thermal camera dedicated to professionals, which allows connection via HDMI or even USB. With a price of 399 dollars, it is able to record images at an even higher resolution than the Flir One, being dedicated mainly to those who work in environments with little ambient light.
Next, at CES 2017, two cameras called Flir Duo and Flir Duo R appeared, having the dimensions of a GoPro camera, and entering the same category as the latter. Flir Duo R was specially calibrated to make thermal measurements in a manner similar to a laboratory equipment, both being dedicated to extremely accurate measurements, they have prices of 999 dollars and 1299 dollars, respectively.
Finally, the people from Flir announced the C3 camera which has a price of 699 dollars, it also has a 3-inch screen, its purpose being to make extremely accurate thermal measurements, like the models mentioned above. All these models are now presented at CES 2017 and will be launched on global markets in the coming months.
