HTC U 11 – full technical specifications confirmed

HTC U 11 had its full technical specifications revealed by an image of a performance test made with GFXBench.

HTC U 11 it has the full technical specifications confirmed thanks to a performance test done using the GFXBench application yesterday. In the image below we have detailed technical specifications of the HTC U 11, as we saw a few weeks ago, but now we have some new details that were not revealed in the previous leaks.

To begin with, we note that the HTC U 11 has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, this being the second confirmation for the diagonal of the screen. The resolution of the HTC U 11 screen is not a surprise because for more than a year most premium smartphones have been launched with exactly the same resolution.

Moving on, the HTC U 11 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, but now we also see that it is clocked at 2.4 GHz. This chip from Qualcomm has a processor with 8 cores, but only some of them will be clocked at 2.4 GHz on the HTC U 11, others will work at slightly lower frequencies in order not to quickly consume the energy from the battery.

Moving on, the HTC U 11 will have an Adreno 540 graphics card, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space, which is exactly what we expected from it. When we look at the information about the cameras, the details of the HTC U 11 start to get a little strange because it would have a main camera of 12 megapixels and a front camera of 15 megapixels.

It is hard to believe that the HTC U 11 will have a front camera with better resolution than the main camera, so probably these specifications are not 100% correct. There is a possibility that they will be reversed, that is, the HTC U 11 will have a main camera of 16 megapixels and a frontal one of 12 megapixels, but for now nothing is certain.

A performance test that appeared the other day shows us that the HTC U 11 will surpass the iPhone 7 Plus in terms of performance, but also the Samsung Galaxy S8. We're only talking about synthetic performance here, because with only 4 GB of RAM, the HTC U 11 could still have problems in real-world usage tests.
