DACIA Logan 3: Official, Latest Model without Huge Change

DACIA Logan 3 speed

DACIA Logan 3 is going to be the last model of the Romanian manufacturer that will come without an extremely important change that was officially confirmed by Renault. More precisely, after Volvo decided to limit the speed of its cars to 180 km/h for all new models put up for sale, those from Renault announced that they will do the same, including for Dacia, and the DACIA Logan 3 will be the last model sedan that will not have limited speed.

DACIA Logan 3 is not the only car produced by Dacia in which this change will be imposed, and this is because including Sandero 3, Duster, Lodgy/MCV, Bigster will have speeds limited to 180 km/h. Volvo made this decision to offer customers more safety when driving their cars, and Renault and Dacia are doing the same, the announcement coming a week after the DACIA Logan 3 obtained only two stars in the Euro NCAP safety tests.

DACIA Logan 3: Official, Latest Model without Huge Change

DACIA Logan 3 was not really made to reach such high speeds anyway, like any other DACIA car, while Renault still sells models with more powerful engines. Despite this, the idea of limiting the speed in a car will be seen by some with indifference, by others as a measure that was not necessary anyway, but even so, the DACIA Logan 3 will remain the last model without a speed limiter at 180 km/h, while the DACIA Logan 4 will have it.

DACIA Logan 3 with the most powerful engine should reach speeds of 180 km/h at the moment, just like Duster or Sandero, but outside of Germany, you have nowhere to legally drive in Europe at such speeds. In this idea, the limitations imposed by car manufacturers are meant to "keep in check" the few who reach such speeds in Germany, or other countries, so that the vast majority of customers should not be bothered by them.

DACIA Logan 3 was launched in the first part of this year, and a new sedan model is not expected in the following years, but when it comes, it will more than likely have a speed limiter at 180 km/h, which will be fitted from 2020.
