iPhone 6S and 4G+ in Romania

iPhone 6S 4G plus RomaniaiPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are compatible with 4G+ networks from Romania being able to reach speeds of up to 300 Mbps for internet browsing and probably some of you are interested in this.

Talking these days with someone from Orange about the way it is done connecting to 4G+ on iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus I found out that the procedure is not quite as intuitive as you imagined, on the contrary, it is quite ambiguous and insufficiently identified.

More precisely, in the settings menu for Cellular Connections, Mobile Data, from iOS 9 you will not find any button that will allow you to switch between 4G or 4G+ networks from our country or any other country on the globe, the connection to them being done, apparently, automatically without any intervention.

The problem in this situation is that you will not know when you are connected to a 4G or 4G+ network because in the status bar of the iOS 9 operating system you will only have the 4G indicator displayed which says absolutely nothing about the real speed with which you can surf the Internet with your terminals.

Asking if any carrier update released for the settings of the Orange mobile operator will bring a 4G+ button in the iOS 9 interface, I received a rather simple answer: it is not needed since the connection to any of the networks is done automatically.

In this idea, the only method to find out if you are connected to a 4G or 4G+ network in Romania is to constantly do tests and when the speeds obtained are higher than 150 Mbps, you will know that you are connected to a 4G+ network high speed.

Considering that currently high-speed 4G+ networks have extremely low coverage, it is unlikely that you will find one in your city, be it big or small, and if you do find it, you will not know that you are connected to it.
