Comparison between game graphics for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S was presented by Apple as the perfect device for gaming since it has a dual-core graphics chip and a powerful dual-core processor. The iPhone 4S should offer graphics performance almost 7 times better than the iPhone 4, and game producers are already starting to update their creations by implementing better graphics and new effects. Below we have a comparison between the way the graphics look of some games tested on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and in the case of certain games we don't have better graphics but we have a better framerate in games.

Epic Citadel – same graphics for both games but better framerate for iPhone 4S.

Dark meadow – the same situation as in the case of Epic Citadel, identical graphics but better framerate for iPhone 4S.

Infinity Blade – better graphics for iPhone 4S and of course a much better framerate. Practically, this is one of the first games in which the developers significantly improved the graphics for the new graphics chip in the iPhone 4S.

Real Racing 2 - the Firemint company has always updated its creations to implement the best graphics and the newest functions, and for iPhone 4S we notice that we have, as in the case of Infinity Blade, better graphics that put the 2 cores of the chip to work the graph.

In conclusion, games can be transformed into real "works of art" if the producers want this. Apple has implemented in its new devices hardware powerful enough to deal with complex graphic effects. Unfortunately, few developers take advantage of the processing power of the new iDevices, so very few games will be updated to include the special graphics for iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
