WatchSpring replaces the iPhone interface with that of the Apple Watch (Video)

WatchSpring is a tweak released last night for iDevice owners who have iOS 8.1 jailbreak, and he was conceived with the idea of allowing us to replace the interface of the iOS operating system with that of the Apple Watch. Last night we presented you an application that allowed you to play with this interface on iPhone terminals, but it wasn't working, so today I'm going to tell you how you can install a working Apple Watch interface in your iPhone, replacing the entire design of the main app screen.

WatchSpring it's basically a theme since it changes the whole look of the main apps screen, but you have to be careful because there's a possibility that various issues may arise after installing it in terms of compatibility with tweaks or apps. In the video above you have a demo of the app available yesterday, the tweak works in a similar way, only it actually allows our apps to be accessed and used.

How to install Apple Watch theme on iPhone

  1. Download the WatchSpring package available here.
  2. Install the Open package developed by Conrad Kramer from Cydia.
  3. Transfer the WatchSpring package via SSH following the instructions here, the transfer procedure being identical.
  4. Based on the same tutorial, install the package using the command dpkg -i gg.ki.TestHook1_1.0-2_iphoneos-arm(or package name).deb
  5. Restart the terminal and after boot you should have the new interface available.

Since WatchSpring might cause problems to use, if you want to uninstall it, you can go to Cydia's Installed menu. This tweak only works on iOS 8 – iOS 8.1.
