Apple blocks the installation of iOS 9.3, releases a new version

The other day I told you that aactivating some iPhones or iPads is impossible in iOS 9.3, the Apple company releasing a new version of iOS that has an extremely serious problem, the situation being so complicated that those from Cupertino decided to block the signing of SHSHs for iOS 9.3 for the affected terminals.

Specifically, the company Apple has confirmed that iPhone 5S or older terminals or iPad Air or older tablets may refuse to activate after installing iOS 9.3, at the same time asking to log in with the Apple ID with which they were initially activated by the user.

In certain situations, the need to log in with an Apple ID appears even if the terminal does not have Activation Lock enabled, and users who no longer know the Apple ID password used with iCloud will remain with non-activated terminals, so Apple withdrew the version iOS 9.3 launched for them.

Updating some iOS devices (iPhone 5s and earlier and iPad Air and earlier) to iOS 9.3 may require entering the Apple ID and password used to set up the device in order to complete the software update. In some cases, if customers do not recall their password, their device will remain in an inactivated state until they can recover or reset their password. For these older devices, we have temporarily pulled back the update and will release an updated version of iOS 9.3 in the next few days that does not require this step."

For now, only a new version of iOS 9.3 for iPad 2 has been released by Apple, it having solved the problem that prevents activation, and new versions of iOS 9.3 for other old iPhones or iPads are to be released in the next period to solve the problems.

This the new build of iOS 9.3 is codenamed 13E236 and can be installed on locked iPad 2 tablets only by connecting to iTunes and installing the new ipsw, users who have not yet installed iOS 9.3 having the option to do the Software Update directly from the tablets.

It is not yet known when the new builds for other versions of the iPhone or iPad will be released, but we will probably have them available during this day.
