Google Pixel 2 – Battery life compared to iPhone 8

The Google Pixel 2 has the battery life compared to that of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus to show us which one works for longer periods of time.

Google Pixel 2 has battery autonomy compared to that of a iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8 and other Android phones that are currently available on the market. Google Pixel 2 XL is also present in this compartitive test for battery autonomy, but the results are very far from being advantageous for the new phones of the Google company, despite the expectations of fans of the series.

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have autonomy of 8 hours and 57 minutes, I respect 9 hours and 3 minutes, the difference between them being very small, surprisingly. This suggests that Google has found a way to provide a very good autonomy for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL batteries, but only in the ratio of one to the other, because compared to other phones things are not so great.

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have less autonomy than iPhone 8 PLus, LG V30, OnePlus 5 and HTC U11, a sign that Google could do more on the autonomy side for them. On the other hand, Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have better autonomy than that offered by Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 8, LG G6 or the old models of phones from the Google Pixel series launched last year.

Google Pixel 2 – Battery life compared to iPhone 8

Google Pixel 2 battery life

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have larger capacity batteries than the iPhone 8, so it was expected to have better autonomy, but not compared to the iPhone 8 Plus. The Google Pixel 2 has a 2700 mAh battery, 900 mAh more than the iPhone 8 and almost identical to the iPhone 8 Plus, but the Google Pixel 2 XL has a 3520 mAh one, so it had to beat the Google Pixel 2 XL without problems.

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL unfortunately have less autonomy than the iPhone 8 Plus, although their batteries should have suggested something else entirely, but perhaps this was to be expected. Android is not recognized for the fact that it allows offering a very good autonomy for phones with imi batteries, and the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL do not in any way abstract from this rule.

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL are not sold at much better prices than those of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, on the contrary, so the autonomy should have been better. Considering that this is not happening, it remains to be seen if the sales of Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 Xl will be higher than those of the previous series, or if they will remain at the same low values this year.
